Experimenting with 3D printing

Thin hollow components were solidified on the base, and became messy when printed vertically.

Scale of objects needs to be adjusted in the makerbot software to ensure a proper scale print. Also, the printers should always be supervised, the PLA snapped half way through a print. The file could not be continued from where the material broke and had to be restarted.
